If you've ever wanted to learn to draw dragons, this is a great guide to help you out. The book is more than just pictures to look at. It's filled with text with tips and hints and guides to what you need to know. You'll find step by step sections to work on specific parts such as dragon eyes or wings.

After you master the different parts of the dragon tackle the guided lessons on creating different types of dragons from the broad/stocky dragon to the long/lean dragon, to the cute dragon to speci

THE Book to truly learn with*

The other books are mostly line drawings. This book is truly a tutorial, with examples of full color dragons. It shows not only how to draw the outline, but also how to color them so they look 3D. It gives great examples of how to draw different body types, and details like ears, tails, horn alternatives, spine ridges or spikes, scale types. This is the book to learn from and adapt to what you want your dragons to look like.

Great book. Dragons are incredibly difficult to draw (which is funny considering they aren't real and you can really do whatever you want with one). This is a paint by numbers book. If you have heard of "South Park Character Creator", this is the same: take the Mr. Potato head pieces, and mix and match.
